Well, I can tell you that I am saving on gas.
I went in to the doctor’s today. They unwrapped the splint/wrapping and evaluated the incision. Everything looked good. Out came the stitches. On went a shiny new cast. For 2 weeks!
I look at that black sash every day.

No need to do your nails, but toes peeking out of a cast deserve some attention. In your case white might look good

I can’t really argue the artistic side of this, but white? I think I’m white enough for the world at this stage.

I like guys in big leg casts. They are so helpless when their toes don’t touch the ground.
